REVIEW
Too Distracting is the third book in The Lewis Cousins series by author Bethany Lopez, and though it can be read as a standalone, I implore you to start at the beginning with book number one. This group of relatives and friends has a nice rapport and being familiar with each character's story only enriches the reading experience. I really enjoyed Laurel and Dillon's book. Laurel is so nice and sweet, and so determined to expand the business her parents began and passed over to her. Dillon, like his twin sister Jazzy, works very hard to expand their sporting goods company. Their love story is extra special because it features two characters who have known each other since childhood, and not necessarily liked or trusted one other. There's something special about these types of stories I find appealing.

This is a quick, satisfying read and I couldn't help smiling as I read it. The author has a way of making her characters come across as friends and the story line is easy to jump right into. There's romance and spice, charm and small town magic. I rooted for both characters to have their HEA and I always enjoy reading dual narratives. I cheered Laurel on when she suddenly turned brazen in the hotel and thank goodness Dillon listened to his sister during the Chicago trip. I wonder who will be featured in book four. I'm really hoping to read about a certain bartender's story soon. This book and the series are so recommended. I love the covers too!
