BBT: Boyfriend From Hell Blog Tour

The Boyfriend From Hell Book Tour stops by Reader Girls today. Author E. Van Lowe has provided us with an interview with Satan. Read on to learn more about this humorous YA novel. We'll begin with the blurb.

Aww, Hell No!

Fifteen year-old Megan Barnett and her single mom, Suze, have a special relationship—they are friends, close friends, who do almost everything together.

“But come on, guys, she’s my mother… Can I really tell her that while we’re snuggled up on the sofa watching Spider Man Three, I’m secretly undressing James Franco with my eyes? Of course not…”

The special bond takes a turn for the worse when Suze decides to start dating again. She hasn’t had a man in her life since Megan’s father left ten years ago.

Enter two mysterious young men, Megan’s new classmate, sinfully attractive bad boy, Guy Matson, and the dangerously handsome art dealer, Armando. Before long Megan and Suze both wind up in steamy relationships. But neither of the handsome guys is quite what he seems. In fact, one of them is Satan, with his sights set on a new bride. Megan has precious little time to figure out how to stop him. If she doesn’t, either Megan or Suze are quite literally going to HELL.

Boyfriend From Hell is the first book in the Falling Angels Saga from the author of the gruesomely hilarious, Never Slow Dance With A Zombie

Interview With Satan

I thought it would be fun to interview one of the characters in my new novel, Boyfriend From Hell. And who would be more interesting to interview than the bad boy of bad boys himself, Satan.

E: Wow! I’d like to say it’s a pleasure meeting you, Satan. But let’s face it, nobody wants to go to hell. So I guess I’ll start with a question: what’s it like being you?

Satan: Dude, it’s amazing? I party all the time. I can jet-set around the world at the drop of a hat. No worries, no bills, nobody telling me what to do. It’s like being Paris Hilton without the bad TV shows.

E: I see. But in my book, you’re dating a good girl.

Satan: What can I say, even Satan likes a little variety. I like the challenge of dating a good girl every once in a while.

E: Can you tell me something about yourself that nobody knows?

Satan: I like grapes. The green ones without the seeds are my fave.

E: Okay. In the book, you have an ongoing battle with fifteen year-old girl, Megan Barnett. I don’t want to spoil the ending, but you’d think a fifteen year-old teenager would not be a formidable foe for the devil.

Satan: First off, it wasn’t an ongoing battle, it was a minor skirmish. Secondly, it’s hard fighting a cheater. I blame her mother. Kids need to learn to fight fair. What kind of world would this be if everyone cheated?

E: But you cheat.

Satan: That’s different. I’m Satan. I’m expected to cheat.

E: Is there anything else you’d like to say about the book?

Satan: Let’s see. It’s got a nice romantic thread, and some very interesting twists. But I believe I was underserved. I mean, if you’re going to call it Boyfriend From Hell, shouldn’t it be from my point of view?

E: That’s a valid point. Thank you Satan, for taking the time to talk to me.

Satan: No problem. And now I’ve got to get back to congress. Somebody’s gotta run this country—into the ground, I mean.
