MY REVIEW: DEMON PRINCESS is a fast-moving, fun read. I liked Nikki as a character. She was smart, funny and tired of being the new girl in town (her mom is on husband number four and each time she marries, they have to move). When a strange boy begins staring at her inside the school cafeteria, she has no idea how her life will change. This boy, Michael, turns out to be a messenger from someone she never thought she'd hear from again--her father. Nikki discovers her dad is a demon King of the Underworld and Michael is her servant, sent to retrieve her. But can Nikki get used to being called Princess? And are horns in fashion?
Rowen, a published author of adult books, is skilled and keeps the plot moving, filling in details about Nikki's character with just the right amount of words. There is no fluff here and no need to skip sections. This is a story to sit back with and enjoy.
