Waiting on Wednesday early edition (5/10-11/11)

Image
This week's Waiting on Wednesday meme is running one day early. My choice this week is easy. The cover for The Rift Walker , the second title in the Vampire Empire series by Clay and Susan Griffiths was unveiled this morning. My fingers can't type fast enough between being so stoked with the art and excited about the summary. My favorite vampire series of 2010, The Greyfriar , has another incredible cover to love! Thanks to Chris McGrath for the incredible art. Here's the summary : Princess Adele struggles with a life of marriage and obligation as her Equatorian Empire and their American Republic allies stand on the brink of war against the vampire clans of the north. However, the alliance's horrific strategy for total victory drives Adele to abandon her duty and embark on a desperate quest to keep her nation from staining its hands with genocide. Reunited with her great love, the mysterious adventurer known to the world as the Greyfriar, Adele is pursued by her own...

Teaser Tusdays

Teaser Tuesdays  is a weekly meme hosted by  Miz B  at  ShouldBeReading  where you randomly take two (or sometimes three) l ines from your current read and highlight them in a post. This week the three of us each have one book to put up. None are new  titles, one is a reprint with a great new cover, the other two are titles two of us have read and now the third is catching up. Our first tease is from A Girl's Guide to Vampires (Dark Ones, #1) by Katie MacAlister.   "I glanced between the two men, the fingers     of my right hand entwined with Raphael's, held strong and safe, my left hand tucked into Christian's arm. "Stop embarrassing me," I said in a low tone to Raphael. "Of course he's not interested in me that way."" Our second tease is from Mockingjay  by Suzanne Collins. ""Because I'm in pain," he says. "That's the only way I get your attention." He picks up the box. "Don't worry, K...
