Nice and Mean By Jessica Leader

Reading level: Ages 9-12 Paperback: 272 pages Publisher: Aladdin; Original edition (June 8, 2010) Book summary: Nice and Mean by Jessica Leader is a hilarious story about two girls one nice, one mean facing off in their middle school video elective. My Review:  Marina didn't know Sachi existed. Sachi tried to pretend Marina didn't exist. Marina was sassy and rude. Sachi was nice but childish. The only thing the two of them had in common, was their school's video elective. Two different personalities, two different ideas. One video. One of my favorite things about  Nice and Mean  was how it included Sachi's video nightmares, so you got to really find out about what she was thinking about at the moment or thinking would happen. I felt as if I really got to know her - as if she was a real person, not a character! I also enjoyed reading Marina's little black book entry's, and the lists she wrote about the people,places, and things surrounding her, and w
