Happy Halloween

We have certainly learned these past two days that Mother Nature has a sense of humor. Last Saturday morning, around 11:30, snow began falling.  Our power went out around 3:30 p.m. and stayed out up until a couple of hours ago. Today is Monday, October 31, and this is the first Halloween I can remember where there is snow on the ground. Yep, I said the "s" word--SNOW. This picture shows the front of our house and what we woke up to yesterday. We were not ready for, nor did we want to see, winter so early. School was closed today and we woke to temps in the 20s. What??? Luckily, our power is back and the kids can go trick or treating this evening. We apologize for not running yesterday's posts. We will run them as soon as we can. Happy Halloween!
