We are waiting on yet another YA paranormal title this week. Our pick is Legacy by Molly Cochran.

Summary: When her widowed father dumps 16-year-old Katy Jessevar in a boarding school in Whitfield, Massachusetts, she has no idea that fate has just opened the door to both her future and her past. Nearly everyone in Whitfield is a witch, as is Katy herself, although she has struggled all her life to hide her unusual talents. I know, another title about boarding schools and mysteries, but this sounds good and I'm not tired of boarding school stories. Legacy, 464 pages, will be published on December 20, 2011 by Simon & Schuster/Paula Wiseman Books.

My Review: Soulstice was the first book I finished for the new year. Holt has created a gripping, realistic horroriffic fantasy with likable characters, a female heroine we can root for, and a truly evil protagonist.
