Character Interview With Noah From Perfect For You
Hi, everyone. Ashelyn Drake here. I’m excited to interview Noah Turner from Perfect For You today. Please give him a warm welcome.
Ashelyn: Hi, Noah.
Noah: Hey.
Ashelyn: Okay, tell me why you decided to go after Meg, even though you’re well aware of the fact that she has a boyfriend.
Noah: Have you met Ash?
Ashelyn: Um, yeah. Author here, remember? Ash is a star football player and totally sweet. Meg could do a lot worse.
Noah: She could do a lot better too. Our football team is awful. It’s not that hard to standout when no one around you knows how to play.
Ashelyn: Ouch, that’s harsh. Readers are going to think you’re kind of a jerk if you keep that up.
Noah: I’m not big on caring what other people think of me. Besides, I’m looking out for Meg. She’s a great girl and she deserves the best.
Ashelyn: So, you think you’re acting in her best interest? Are you saying you don’t have any selfish motives in this?
Noah: I’m not going to lie. Meg is hot. Of course I want to date her, but it’s more than that. She and I make sense. We like the same things, and underneath the hurt she carries around is a confident girl. I make that side of her come out, and she needs that.
Ashelyn: I won’t lie either. You do bring out Meg’s confidence. But are you really okay with trying to break up her and Ash?
Noah: That’s not what I’m doing. I think Meg and I belong together. If she winds up thinking that too, then it will be her decision. I won’t make her do anything she doesn’t want to. If she tells me to back off, I will. But until she does...
Ashelyn: She’s not just a crush to you, is she?
Noah: Not at all. It sucks having to watch her be with him. I know I could make her happy in ways he can’t.
Ashelyn: But like you said, that’s Meg’s decision to make.
Noah: Yeah. Have I mentioned I hate not being in control?
Ashelyn: No, but I think we could all figure that out. Thanks for talking with us today, Noah.
