Vanessa has been so busy working her way up the corporate ladder that she's forgotten all about sex over the past two years. When her best friend dares her to pick up a sexy stranger with panty-dropping dimples, she takes the dare and approaches Enrique. Sensing Vanessa's uncertainty, Enrique gives her full control in the bedroom…until he doesn't.

What started as an inconvenient dare turns into more than Vanessa ever expected, but when she learns the secret Enrique's been keeping, will she be able to forgive him, or will she forgo her chance at happiness?

Review
Whenever I sit down to read one of Bethany Lopez's stories I know automatically that I need to do three things: 1) set aside a block of time, 2) relax, and 3) enjoy. So I did. This author has yet to let me down. An Inconvenient Dare is like a delicious appetizer. Less than a hundred pages, it's very satisfying and leaves you wanting more.

Vanessa is an admirable heroine. She's a hard worker who needs to remember to have some fun every once in a while. When she finally does go out with her closest friend, Ella, she meets Enrique. A sexy, likable male main character, I was so glad to see the story was narrated by both. Of course, Enrique has a secret he can't share with Vanessa as their relationship deepens. Working together has never been hotter!

Of course, I read this in one sitting. Vanessa's a strong, independent heroine who thinks she's found her Mr. Right. I laughed at her antics, teared up when she was heart stricken, and totally fell for this sizzling couple. As for the secondary characters, I also loved Ella and would adore seeing her get her own story with Enrique's brother, Carlos.

An Inconvenient Dare is Bethany Lopez at her best, so prepare to kick back your feet, relax (with or without a glass of wine), and fall in love with these characters. I know I did!
