The Inside Out series is one of those series I have heard so much about and have wanted to read. I've participated in tours and read one novella, but I never started at the beginning. Until now. When I saw the tour call for the series, I jumped at the opportunity. Thank you Ink Slinger PR!

If I Were You is the first book in the Inside Out series and we meet Sara, a school teacher on summer break. She comes into contact with a sexy journal belonging to a woman named Rebecca. Of course, Sara reads the book and becomes fascinated. From an intriguing ending, Sara wonders if something has happened to Rebecca and decides to see if she can locate her. Her search leads to an art gallery. Coincidentally, Sara has an impeccable art background and is able to take over for the missing (?) Rebecca. At her new job, Sara encounters a motorcycle riding artist, Chris, and her boss, Mark. Both men are hot and interest her.

So who is this Rebecca? And are the two men Sara meets somehow involved? I liked Sara but thought her relationship with Chris happened too quick, especially when she believes this guy could be involved with whatever happened to Rebecca. But then she could have just given in to living 'in the moment'. I mean, Chris is hot and she is single.

Part mystery, part sexy romance, Inside Out intrigued me. Interesting characters, a steady pace, the romance and mystery aspect of the book kept me invested. After the cliffhanging ending, I know I will continue on with the series. I liked the author's writing style and became fascinated with the premise.
