Tia and Will’s lives get flipped upside down when they’re voted Yearbook’s Biggest Flirts in this sassy novel from the author of Endless Summer and The One That I Want.

Tia just wants to have fun. She’s worked hard to earn her reputation as the life of the party, and she’s ready for a carefree senior year of hanging out with friends and hooking up with cute boys. And her first order of business? New guy Will. She can’t get enough of his Midwestern accent and laid-back swagger.

As the sparks start to fly, Will wants to get serious. Tia’s seen how caring too much has left her sisters heartbroken, and she isn’t interested in commitment. But pushing Will away drives him into the arms of another girl. Tia tells herself it’s no big deal…until the yearbook elections are announced. Getting voted Biggest Flirts with Will is, well, awkward. They may just be friends, but their chemistry is beginning to jeopardize Will’s new relationship—and causing Tia to reconsider her true feelings. What started as a lighthearted fling is about to get very complicated…

Favorite Quotes
This perfect boy, sent to sit next to me at a party, was quickly becoming one of my best friends with bennies. If he kept sounding so pleasantly shocked at what I was doing to him, he might even replace Sawyer as my favorite bad boy.
"Will is like Sawyer," I said, "but better."
          "Better!" Harper exclaimed. "Better how?"

Better in that I felt myself flush every time Will looked at me. Sawyer and I had agreed a long time ago that we were too much alike to have any real chemistry.

He circled my fingers with his. "Grab." Holding my hand, he met my gaze and waited for my answer.
I found the courage, but slowly. "Okay."

Tia Cruz is a certified party girl, absolute flirt, and digs drumming in her school's marching band. She's cool, but she may be a bit naive. She thinks she can just have fun with the new boy, Will, but he has a surprise for her. What happens when a relationship starts out as pure fun and then something changes the dynamics of said relationship? For Will and Tia in Biggest Flirts, the first book in The Superlatives series, it is all about to turn serious. Question is, can Tia admit her true feelings or will she bail?

I liked Tia but I will say her partying ways got to me. I wanted to walk her down a lo-nnng hallway and have a lengthy conversation with her. I cut her some slack since I found out about her older sisters (all three of them) and their track records in life, besides her mom. All of that baggage gave me a sense of  "Oh, that's why Tia is that way." That way is to avoid the seriousness of all relationships. With Tia it's find the fun or go have a beer. Nothing heavy or serious, considering how her family's track record. Then Will came along.

Tall, muscular, hockey player, kinda quiet and intense, Will shook things up. He's dealing with his own stuff like a cheating ex and having to leave high school his senior year to transfer somewhere else. Major suckage all in caps. There's something about Tia he likes and despite dating others, she is the one he can't forget. Echols always excels at the complexities of relationships and various personalities. I enjoyed Tia's story yet felt there were some areas where I wanted more depth (family back story, the deal with Will's ex-girlfriend). The dynamics between Tia and Will kept my interest and had me giggling in many spots. Their chemistry is undeniable, despite Tia's not admitting how she really feels. Overall, Echols' fans will want to read Biggest Flirts--it's a fun, fast-paced, kinda dark summer vacation read.
