Fifty First Times: A New Adult Anthology features a diverse enough collection of those memorable experiences we call 'first times' to satisfy every reader. What's an added treat is seeing the list of authors--ranging from popular traditionally published and indie authors in YA and NA--and ranging from short stories based on a series or stand alone tales. I thought the list of authors was impressive and I was thrilled to see so many of my favorites offered something in this rich collection. As usual, there were some I loved. some I liked and some that were okay. And that's all right since this is an anthology. Unfortunately, there were some I wanted to read more of, and some I couldn't really get a feel for due to the brevity of the story. This anthology has a wide scope of settings and ranges from teens to college age characters. My advice: take your time and enjoy each story individually instead of plowing through. The experience will be more satisfying and memorable, kind of like a 'first time.' I enjoyed it.

A bit too dark and unexciting for me.
