Now Kate has cold feet about their life together…and cold everything else. She doesn't think Jack will miss her if she packs up and runs away to Colorado. After all, she's been in living in sunny Florida for seven years, and he hasn't managed to come see her. But Jack has one last chance of convincing his runaway bride to come back to him, and he won't give up until he breaks through the ice that's frosted her heart.
About the author:
Wendy Sparrow
At home in the Pacific Northwest, Wendy Sparrow writes for both an adult and young adult crowd in many genres but always with a happily ever after. She has two wonderfully quirky kids, a supportive husband, and a perpetually messy house because she hates cleaning. She’s an advocate both online and in her community for autistic children in addition to actively trying to raise awareness about obsessive compulsive disorder. Most days she spends on Twitter procrastinating doing the dishes.
The theme of there being consequences for actions is an important lesson in this story. Jack gave in and let Kate leave and now he has to deal with losing his powers and worse if he can't bring her back. Independent Kate is content to live alone after watching her parents handle their unhappy marriage. That chance meeting with a blond-haired King of Winter made quite an impression on her but fear, insecurity and unclear communication have impacted the lives of this wintry couple.
Author Wendy Sparrow has created a cute, enticing romance amidst the backdrop of a lovely winter wonderland, complete with icicle fairies and scrolls which turn to snow. Kate is a scarred woman, not wanting to repeat the mistakes of her parents, yet trying to remember the magic of a special encounter with a snow-producing hunk.
Jack have come across as arrogant and fast-moving at first, but he quickly redeems himself. His determination creates some swoon-inducing moments, especially the romantic pond scene later on in the story. Watching this lost married couple find their way back to each other while tossing aside flimsy excuses to reconnect and reignite their love was a great way to spend a few hours on a frigid February day. Make sure to have a cup of hot cocoa to sip as you get lost inside the pages of Frosted.
Rating: 3.5 So cute and romantic

Cover comment: I like the cover but since this is a love story about two people I would have liked a picture of Kate to the side of Jack (equal opportunity and all).
Book source: I received a promotional copy from the publisher in return for my honest review during a blog tour.
Wendy is giving away a Blue and White Sworovski Crystal necklace in sterling silver to one lucky international winner at the end of the tour.
