Just A Little Flirt is the second book in Renita Pizzitola's Crush series and it's a sweet, steamy New Adult contemporary romance. I think many of us can easily relate to Fallon and the way she fell for her high school boyfriend only to be used by him and cast away just before college. He was a taker and left her scarred. Now Fallon ditches her stay loyal to one guy reputation and decides to let loose. She likes to party now and sleep with whoever she wants. But her 'new' ways of enjoying life might be getting in the way of getting what she really wants which is a hospital internship in the pediatric ward. There's competition for the position and she really wants it. After bumping into a cute guy who helps her out of a pinch, Fallon tells her friends about him. They make a bet with her that she can't keep her hands off anyone at the hospital and she accepts. Of course, we know what's going to happen next. In typical fate knows better, Fallon spots the cute guy again. His name is Cade and he has a physical therapy dog which he brings for the kids to see. Sweet, hot, sexy and he has a dog. Fallon rethinks that bet over carefully. Loopholes anyone?
Cute idea, likable characters, and an interesting conflict. Just A Little Flirt was a fun read. I enjoyed Fallon and Cade's interactions from their initial meet-up to their 'flirty' conversations and steamy scenes. This is what contemporary romance is about.
