IN A RACE AGAINST TIME, HOW DO YOU KEEP THOSE YOU LOVE SAFE?

Jenny Kramer knows she isn’t normal. After all, not everybody can see the past lives of people around them. When she befriends Ben Daulton, resident new boy, the pair stumbles on an old music box with instructions for “mesmerization” and discover they may have more in common than they thought.

Like a past life.

Using the instructions in the music box, Ben and Jenny share a dream that transports them to Romanov Russia and leads them to believe they have been there together before. But they weren’t alone. Nikolai, the mysterious young man Jenny has been seeing in her own dreams was there, too. When Nikolai appears next door, Jenny is forced to acknowledge that he has traveled through time and space to find her. Doing so means he has defied the laws of time, and the Order, an ominous organization tasked with keeping people in the correct time, is determined to send him back. While Ben, Jenny and Nikolai race against the clock -- and the Order -- the trio discovers a link that joins them in life -- and beyond death.

About the author:
Amanda Gray believes in magic and fantasy and possibilities. She is a team of two bestselling authors who live only miles apart but have never met in person. They talk on the phone and are the best of friends and between them have written more than a dozen novels and novellas and have had their work appear on television.

There are so many good and great things going on in Endless by Amanda Gray, I knew I would like this story. Jenny is a quiet girl with not many friends in high school. She's kind of an oddball, wearing gloves, and keeping to herself. When an encounter with a Ouija board causes her to pass out, she never thinks the guy she sees while she's out cold would actually show up in her town. Jenny has also made a friend with new boy, Ben, and a chance discovery of an antique music box shows these two the unique connection they share.

Jenny may not have a TARDIS to get around in, but in Endless she doesn't need one. Her ability to touch people and see the lives they lived is all she needs. Meeting Ben, coming face to face with Nikolai, traveling back to the Romanov time period and reincarnation all play interesting roles in this engaging story. Jenny's insta-love is explained and when a couple has been seeking each other out over decades, the attraction isn't an instant one, it's a timeless one.

I may still have some questions--and let's face it, with time travel stories, we don't always get them, just look at Dr. Who--still, I thoroughly enjoyed Endless. Detailed descriptions, likable characters, intriguing storylines, touches of history, and soulmates on the run all combine into one entertaining novel all readers, not just YA, can fall into.

Cover comment:
I love this cover. I like how the girl isn't looking out at the reader. Her clothes, her hair, the position of her arms and head, they all imply different things like distress, worry, concern, and more of the emotions Jenny endures in the story.
