Kick Butt Characters Hop

It is time for the second annual Kick Butt Characters Hop hosted by Good Choice Reading and I Am A Reader, Not A Writer. This hop runs from March 23rd through midnight on March 28th and has over one hundred and thirty blogs participating. Find the complete list here.

So what/who is a Kick-Butt Character in Young Adult books? Someone who can take of herself or himself. Think Katniss of The Hunger Games, Rose from Vampire Academy and Clary of The Mortal Instruments.

    I finally read Divergent this year and I'm a big fan of Tris now! But Ari from Kelly Keaton's Gods and Monsters series is great, too!

    I really enjoyed Ruby from Ruby Blue (The Ruby Blue Series) by Julie Cassar. She is funny and gets out there and takes care of business :)
