I will readily admit I am a bonafide William Maddox fangurl. From his very first scene in Seers of Light, I was enamored by his quiet charm, his gentile sensibilities, his quickfire retorts, and, well, he is hot. In Glimpse of Light we hear from him about the days leading up Lillian's retrieval and the day of. His insecurities, how the others treat him, how repulsed he is by the vampires; in his subtle way, he shares his feelings and leaves a piece of his heart with his readers. He is so sympathetic, touching, intensely strong and more. I loved reading from his perspective. My only problem was this piece's brevity but, after all, it is a short story. You know an author has done an excellent job when fans are clamoring for more. Dear Ms. DeLucy, give us more William! And now, I'll start reading Circle of Light.
