Review: Despite a slow start, I have to admit I was totally intrigued by Alexis's voice. The eighteen year old loses her mom in a car accident and has her best bud, Keats (love that name) as her support system. A mysterious guy begins to stalk her and luckily, Keats begins to figure out what's suddenly going on in Alexis' life. Almost midway through, the story picked up and kept me interested through to the end.

I like mythology and thought the way C.L. Stengall incorporated it  into his story was fascinating. Alexis learns she is not who she originally thought and as she discovers her powers they are tested when Keats disappears. Finding out she has other siblings and that she has to travel to meet them was a neat spin. There was plenty of action, well crafted characters, intriguing story lines and plenty of conflict to make me a fan of the Progeny. I'm looking forward to reading more in this trilogy.
