Channelers are tied to the fate of the world. As the world slowly dies, so do
they—and they alone have the power to stop the destruction of Earth. Now, Eren learns she not only lives among them, but she is one. When she meets local boy Aiden, his charm convinces her that being a channeler may not be all bad.
Heather McCorkle is sharing one secret at each tour stop. Here is today's secret.

What secrets projects do you have in the works for the future Heather?
Well, The Secret of Spruce Knoll is the first in a trilogy, most people know that. The sequel to The Secret of Spruce Knoll (yet to be titled) is scheduled to release around March of 2012. But, my secret project is a young adult historical fantasy about one of Eren's (Spruce Knoll's main character) ancestors. It's set in Ireland around the year 1160. It struck a chord with me and flowed onto the page like no other manuscript has before it. After putting it through the editing ringer I'm hoping it may see the light of day, and the eyes of readers, in 2013. About the author: I am an author of young adult fantasy, in all its many sub-genres. Helping other writers and supporting fabulous authors is my passion. When I'm not writing or surfing my social networking sites, I can be found on the slopes, the hiking trails, or on horseback. As a native Oregonian, I enjoy the outdoors almost as much as the worlds I create on the pages. No need to travel to the Great Northwest though, you can find me here, on my blog four days a week, and Monday night's on Twitter where I co-moderate the #WritersRoad chat with my good friend TS Tate.

Wow Heather - how do you find time? Lack of writing time has been my nemesis. I am so hoping that my job slows down in September and I can find the time to write. As it is my house chores barely get done and I've become a hermit! Thank God for my Blackberry :)
