Waiting on Wednesday (March 23, 2011)

What are we anxiously waiting to read? Hm, there are soooo many upcoming titles we would like to read so making a decision this week was very hard. One book we can't wait to read is Nightshade, The Poison Diaries, Book 2 by Maryrose Wood. Read this summary and you'll see why:

A dark, gothic tale of romance… and murder.

Our heroine, Jessamine, has lost her faith in the men she loved, and her innocence as well. She turns to the dark side and plots to kill her father, using his own poisons, before becoming an assassin, a poisoner for hire. Can she recover from her heartache and reunite with her true love, Weed? Find out in this thrilling story where poisons, darkness and horror are a part of everyday life, and love is the only cure.(From Goodreads)

Nightshade will available on October 25 from HarperCollins books.

A
nd since we just learned about this one, we had to add on the next and final installment of Christopher Paolini's Inheritance
Cycle, Book 4 simply titled Inheritance.

Book summary (from Goodreads): Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.

Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaësia? And if so, at what cost?

Inheritance will be available on November 8 from Random House.
