Waiting on Wednesday

Another Wednesday, a new month, and we decided we had to post the ONE title we're awaiting anxiously, especially after we saw the cover unveiled: Blackveil, Book Four of the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain. The Green Rider series is one of our top 5 fantasy favorites. We were enchanted by Karigan in the very first book, Green Rider, and read each new title as soon as it was available. Adventure, action, mystery, evil forces, compelling characters and a love story too, we hope this series enchants new readers.

Summary: The long-awaited sequel to "Green Rider, First Rider's Call, " and "The High King's Tomb." 

Once a simple student, Karigan G'ladheon finds herself in a world of deadly danger and complex magic, compelled by forces she cannot understand when she becomes a legendary Green Rider-one of the magical messengers of the king. Forced by magic to accept a dangerous fate she would never have chosen, headstrong Karigan has become completely devoted to the king and her fellow Riders. 

But now, an insurrection led by dark magicians threatens to break the boundaries of ancient, evil Blackveil Forest-releasing powerful dark magics that have been shut away for a millennium.

Blackveil, 720 pages, will be published by DAW books on February 1, 2011. For news, check out Kristen Britain's official site. We learned the author is working on Book Five!

    I cannot wait for Blackveil to come out (I love this series). I'm already planning on re-reading the first three books after I buy it. Awesome pick. ^_^
